Method

Preparation of Fish

  1. 1

    Clean the Fish

Rinse the Whitehall Char fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Fillets

Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly over both sides of the fillets.

Marinade

  1. 3

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and chopped dill until well combined.

  2. 4

    Marinate the Fish

Place the seasoned fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the fish is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 6

    Bake the Fish

Place the marinated fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve on a plate, garnished with lemon slices and fresh dill sprigs.
