Method

Preparing the Steak

1

Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, black pepper, and lime juice to create a marinade. Add the flank steak, ensuring it is well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

2

Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness (145°F for medium rare).

3

Rest and Slice the Steak

Once cooked, remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. Then, slice the steak against the grain into thin strips.

Assembling the Tacos

4

Prepare the Tortillas

Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side, until pliable.

5

Assemble the Tacos

On each tortilla, layer the sliced steak, followed by chopped fresh cilantro, diced red onion, and thinly sliced radishes. Add sliced avocado on top and drizzle with sour cream and hot sauce to taste.

6

Serve

Serve the tacos warm with lime wedges on the side for extra flavor.
