Muddle the Ingredients
In an Old Fashioned glass, place the sugar cube and add the bitters and water. Muddle until the sugar has dissolved.

Add Bourbon
Fill the glass with ice and pour the bourbon over the ice. Stir gently to combine.

Garnish
Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and drop it in as a garnish. Add the maraschino cherry on top.
