Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Peel and devein the jumbo shrimp, leaving the tails on if desired. Rinse under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Allow it to warm for about 1 minute.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

  4. 4

    Add the Shrimp

Add the prepared jumbo shrimp to the skillet, sprinkle with red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

  5. 5

    Deglaze with Wine

Pour in the white wine to deglaze the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Let it simmer for about 2 minutes.

  6. 6

    Finish the Sauce

Stir in the butter and lemon juice, allowing it to melt into the sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.

  7. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Serve the shrimp scampi immediately over pasta or with crusty bread for dipping.
