Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the angel hair pasta and cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-5 minutes, until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a cup of pasta water.
- 2
Cook the Garlic
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced garlic and cook until it becomes golden brown and fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- 3
Sauté the Shrimp
Add the jumbo shrimp to the skillet with the garlic oil. Sprinkle in the red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and are cooked through.
- 4
Combine with Pasta
Once the shrimp are cooked, add the drained angel hair pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to create a light sauce that coats the pasta.
