Appetizers

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by rinsing the jumbo shrimp under cold water. Pat them dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Chop the sun-dried tomatoes and set aside.

  2. 2

    Heat the Olive Oil

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and allow it to warm up for about 2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Be careful not to let the garlic burn.

  4. 4

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the seasoned jumbo shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.

  5. 5

    Add Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Capers

Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and capers. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  6. 6

Finish with Red Pepper Flakes and Parsley

Sprinkle the red pepper flakes and chopped parsley over the shrimp mixture. Stir well and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

  7. 7

    Serve the Dish

Remove from heat and transfer the shrimp aglio e olio to a serving dish. Serve immediately while hot.
