Stir in 28 ounces of crushed tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1 teaspoon of dried basil, 0.5 tablespoons of salt, and 0.5 tablespoons of black pepper. Bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

In a bowl, combine 0.5 pounds of ground beef, 0.5 cups of breadcrumbs, 0.25 cups of grated Parmesan cheese, 1 large egg, and 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley.
