Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the spaghetti or linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.

Cooking the Sauce

  1. 2

    Sauté Garlic and Tomatoes

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant. Add the halved cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.

  2. 3

    Add Wine and Seafood

Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Add the shrimp, mussels, clams, and calamari. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through and the mussels and clams have opened.

  3. 4

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Once the seafood is cooked, add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a sauce. Stir in the chopped parsley, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve the Dish

Serve hot, garnished with extra parsley and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired. Enjoy your Frutti di Mare!
