Proteins

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate Proteins

In a bowl, combine chicken thighs, shrimp, and tofu. Add soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare Vegetables

While proteins are marinating, chop bell peppers, broccoli, and slice the carrots. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook Chicken

In a large skillet over medium heat, add a bit of sesame oil. Once hot, add the marinated chicken thighs and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Cook Shrimp

In the same skillet, add the marinated shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside with the chicken.

  3. 5

    Cook Tofu

Add a little more sesame oil if necessary, then add the marinated tofu to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  4. 6

    Stir-Fry Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the chopped bell peppers, broccoli florets, and sliced carrots. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

  5. 7

    Combine Everything

Return the cooked chicken, shrimp, and tofu to the skillet with the vegetables. Stir well to combine and heat through for another 2-3 minutes.

Garnishing

  1. 8

    Serve

Serve the mixed plate hot, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
