Mandoo Filling

Dumpling Wrappers

For Frying

Method

Prepare the Filling

1

Mix the Filling Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Assemble the Mandoo

2

Fill the Wrappers

Take a wonton wrapper and place about one tablespoon of the chicken filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water using your finger.

3

Seal the Wrapper

Fold the wrapper in half to create a triangle. Press the edges firmly to seal. You can crimp the edges for a decorative touch. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

Fry the Mandoo

4

Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

5

Fry the Mandoo

Carefully add the filled mandoo to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.

6

Drain the Mandoo

Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried mandoo from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Prepare the Dipping Sauce

7

Mix the Dipping Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili paste, and toasted sesame seeds. Stir well to combine.
