Method
Marinade Preparation
- 1
Combine Marinade Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and gochujang until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is well combined.
- 2
Add Green Onions
Stir in the chopped green onions into the marinade mixture.
Chicken Preparation
- 3
Marinate Chicken
Place the chicken thighs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
- 4
Preheat Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).
Grilling
- 5
Grill Chicken
Remove the chicken thighs from the marinade, letting excess marinade drip off. Discard the remaining marinade. Place the chicken on the preheated grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks. The internal temperature should reach 165°F.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the chicken for garnish and serve hot.
