Method
Preparation of Marinated Beef
- 1
Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved. Add the flank steak, ensuring it is well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- 2
Grill the Beef
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the flank steak from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until it reaches desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Preparation of Salsa
- 3
Make the Salsa
In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, finely chopped red onion, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Mix well and set aside for flavors to meld while preparing the tacos.
