Preparation of Rice

Cook the Rice
Rinse the short-grain rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Combine the rinsed rice and water in a rice cooker or pot. If using a pot, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for another 10 minutes.
Cooking Vegetables

Prepare Spinach
Blanch the spinach in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water. Squeeze out excess water and set aside.

Sauté Zucchini
Slice the zucchini and sauté in the same pan for 2-3 minutes until just tender. Season with salt and set aside.

Sauté Bean Sprouts
Sauté the bean sprouts in the pan for about 2-3 minutes until they are tender but still crunchy. Season with salt and set aside.

Assemble the Bibimbap
In a bowl, place a serving of rice as the base. Arrange the sautéed vegetables and cooked meat on top of the rice. Finally, place the fried egg in the center. Drizzle with gochujang and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
