Method
Prepare beer and garnishes
- 1
Chill beer
Place the six bottles of Corona in the refrigerator for at least 2–3 hours before serving, or in an ice-filled cooler for 20–30 minutes to rapidly chill. The beer should be cold (around 38–45°F / 3–7°C) when served.

- 3
Optional salt rim
If you prefer a salted rim for served glasses, spread 2 tablespoons of salt on a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip the rim into the salt to coat lightly.
Serving
- 4
Serve beer directly from the bottle or pour into chilled pilsner or pint glasses over ice if desired (traditional serving is straight from the bottle without ice). If serving from the bottle, gently open each bottle and insert a lime wedge into the neck so it sits partly inside the beer. If pouring into glasses, squeeze a lime wedge into each glass to taste and drop the wedge into the glass or hook it on the rim. Offer remaining lime wedges on a small plate for guests.
