Cook the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until it is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Drain Excess Fat
Once the beef is cooked, drain any excess fat from the skillet.

Season the Beef
Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the cooked beef and stir to combine. Add 1 cup of water and bring to a simmer. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.

Prepare Taco Shells
While the beef is simmering, warm the taco shells according to the package instructions.

Assemble the Tacos
Once the taco shells are ready, fill each shell with the seasoned ground beef, followed by a generous portion of shredded lettuce and cheddar cheese.
