Method

Taco Filling

  1. 1

    Cook the Ground Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until it is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 2

    Drain Excess Fat

Once the beef is cooked, drain any excess fat from the skillet.

  3. 3

    Season the Beef

Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the cooked beef and stir to combine. Add 1 cup of water and bring to a simmer. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.

Taco Assembly

  1. 4

    Prepare Taco Shells

While the beef is simmering, warm the taco shells according to the package instructions.

  2. 5

    Assemble the Tacos

Once the taco shells are ready, fill each shell with the seasoned ground beef, followed by a generous portion of shredded lettuce and cheddar cheese.

  3. 6

    Add Toppings

Top each taco with sour cream and salsa to taste.
