Preparation
Prepare the Glass
Rim the edge of a chilled cocktail glass with salt. To do this, run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and then dip it into a plate of salt to coat the edge.
Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Azteca Azul Tequila, 1 oz of DiSaronno Amaretto, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 1 oz of simple syrup.
Shake the Cocktail
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well-chilled.
Serving
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared cocktail glass, ensuring the salt rim is intact.
Garnish
Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
