Prepare the Meat
Choose your meat option. If using ground beef, cook in a skillet over medium heat until browned. For shredded chicken, boil chicken breast until fully cooked, then shred. If using pork carnitas, heat in a skillet until warm.

Prepare the Toppings
While the meat is cooking, chop the lettuce, dice the tomatoes, and shred the cheese. Place all the toppings in separate bowls for easy assembly.

Warm the Taco Shells
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place corn taco shells on a baking sheet and warm in the oven for about 5-7 minutes.

Fill the Taco Shells
Once the shells are warmed, take them out of the oven. Add your choice of meat into each taco shell, filling them generously.

Add Toppings
Top each taco with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, and salsa. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro.

Serve
Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos before eating.
