Steak Marinade

Method

Marinating the Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steak

Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavor.

Grilling the Steak

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Grill the Steak

Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

  3. 5

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

Assembling the Tacos

  1. 6

    Slice the Steak

Thinly slice the grilled steak against the grain.

  2. 7

    Warm the Tortillas

In a skillet or on the grill, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.

  3. 8

    Build the Tacos

Place a few slices of steak on each tortilla. Top with chopped cilantro, diced onion, and sliced radishes.

  4. 9

    Serve

Serve the tacos with lime wedges and salsa on the side for added flavor.
