Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meat

If using ground beef, cook it in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Slice Jalapeños

If using fresh jalapeños, slice them thinly. If using pickled jalapeños, drain them and set aside.

Assembling the Nachos

  1. 3

    Layer the Chips

Spread the corn tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet or oven-safe dish.

  2. 4

    Add Toppings

Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the chips, followed by the cooked meat and jalapeños.

Baking

  1. 5

    Bake the Nachos

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the assembled nachos in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve with Dips

Remove nachos from the oven and serve immediately with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa on the side.
