Prepare the Meat
If using ground beef, cook it in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Slice Jalapeños
If using fresh jalapeños, slice them thinly. If using pickled jalapeños, drain them and set aside.
Assembling the Nachos

Layer the Chips
Spread the corn tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet or oven-safe dish.

Add Toppings
Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the chips, followed by the cooked meat and jalapeños.

Bake the Nachos
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the assembled nachos in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving

Remove nachos from the oven and serve immediately with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa on the side.
