Prepare the Ingredients
Gather and measure all the ingredients listed. Drain the canned tomatoes and dice the jalapeño (if using fresh). Chop the green onions and set aside.

In a medium saucepan over low heat, add the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese. Stir occasionally until the cheeses are melted and smooth.

Once the cheese is melted, add the sour cream, diced tomatoes, chopped green onions, and diced jalapeño. Stir until well combined.

Add the garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to the mixture. Stir well to incorporate all the spices evenly.

If the dip is too thick, gradually stir in the milk until you reach your desired consistency.
