Vanilla Flavor Ingredients

    Method

    Base Preparation

    1. 1

      Mix Base Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined and the sugar is dissolved.

    2. 2

      Chill the Mixture

Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to chill completely. This will enhance the flavor and improve the texture of the ice cream.

    Flavoring (Chocolate or Vanilla)

    1. 3

      Add Chocolate Flavor (if desired)

If you are making chocolate ice cream, whisk in the cocoa powder into the chilled base mixture until fully combined and smooth.

    Churning

    1. 4

      Churn the Ice Cream

Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

    Freezing

    1. 5

      Freeze the Ice Cream

Transfer the churned ice cream into an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.

    Serving

    1. 6

      Serve the Ice Cream

Scoop the ice cream into bowls or cones and enjoy! You can choose to add toppings like chocolate syrup, sprinkles, or nuts if desired.
