Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Making the Cake Batter

Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the unsalted butter and semi-sweet chocolate. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Allow to cool slightly.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, and salt.

Add the melted chocolate mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until combined.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add the eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract to the batter. Mix until fully incorporated, ensuring not to overmix.
Baking

Fill Ramekins
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.

Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is soft.

Remove from the oven and let the cakes cool for 1 minute before inverting onto plates.
