Preparing the Bread

Slice the Baguette
Using a sharp knife, slice the baguette into ½-inch thick slices.

Toast the Bread
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and lightly brush one side with olive oil. Toast in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
Making the Topping

Prepare the Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Basil and Garlic
Chop the fresh basil leaves and finely mince the garlic. Add both to the bowl with the diced tomatoes.

Season the Mixture
Add olive oil, salt, and black pepper to the tomato mixture. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
Assembling the Bruschetta

Top the Bread
Spoon the tomato mixture generously onto the toasted side of each baguette slice.

Drizzle balsamic glaze over the topped baguette slices for added flavor.
