Taco Shell Preparation

Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable. Keep them warm in a clean towel.

Cook the Meat
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef or chicken. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Add Seasoning
Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 10 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally.
Fresh Salsa Preparation

Make the Salsa
In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, onion, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Mix well and set aside.

Assemble the Tacos
Take a warm tortilla, add a scoop of the meat filling, top with fresh salsa, shredded cheese, sour cream, and jalapeños to taste. Fold the tortilla and enjoy!
