Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cucumbers

Wash the cucumbers thoroughly under cold water. Peel the cucumbers if desired, then cut them into small chunks for easier blending.

  2. 2

    Juice the Limes

Cut the limes in half and use a citrus juicer or your hands to extract the juice into a measuring cup. Remove any seeds that may fall into the juice.

  3. 3

    Muddle the Mint

In a large pitcher, add the fresh mint leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently bruise the mint leaves. This will release their essential oils and enhance the flavor.

Blending and Mixing

  1. 4

    Blend the Cucumbers

In a blender, combine the cucumber chunks with 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth and liquefied. If necessary, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp.

  2. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cucumber juice, lime juice, and granulated sugar to the pitcher with muddled mint. Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Serving

  1. 6

    Chill and Serve

Add ice cubes to the pitcher or individual glasses. Stir the limeade once more before serving to ensure even mixing. Garnish with additional mint leaves and cucumber slices if desired.
