Prepare the Tortillas
Cut each corn tortilla into 6 wedges to form triangle-shaped chips.

Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches around 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Chips
Carefully add the tortilla wedges to the hot oil in batches. Fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch.

Drain and Season
Remove the chips from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. While still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.

Mix Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.

Season the Salsa
Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture and add salt to taste. Stir well to combine.

Allow the salsa to sit for at least 15 minutes to let the flavors meld together before serving.
