Steak Preparation

Season the Steak
Sprinkle the T-Bone steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Cook the Steak
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned T-Bone steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.

Blend the Sauce
Use an immersion blender or a regular blender to puree the sauce until smooth. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Cook the Rice
In a medium pot, add 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil. Add the rice, cover, and reduce heat to low. Cook for about 18-20 minutes until the rice is tender and water is absorbed.

Heat the Beans
Open the can of black beans and heat them in a small saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.

Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet, warm the tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
Assembly

Plate the Dish
Place the cooked T-Bone steak on a plate, top with the red sauce, and serve with a side of rice, black beans, and warm tortillas.
