Method

Preparation of Proteins

  1. 1

    Cook Chicken

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breast, season with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 6-7 minutes or until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and shred.

  2. 2

    Cook Shrimp

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from skillet.

  3. 3

    Cook Steak

Add the sliced steak to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing into bite-sized pieces.

Preparation of Vegetables

  1. 4

    Sauté Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Cook for 4-5 minutes until they are tender. Add jalapeños to taste and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Assemble Nachos

  1. 5

    Layer Tortilla Chips

On a large baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips evenly.

  2. 6

    Add Proteins and Veggies

Layer the shredded chicken, cooked shrimp, sliced steak, and sautéed vegetables on top of the tortilla chips.

  3. 7

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese generously over the chips and toppings.

Bake Nachos

  1. 8

    Bake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the nachos in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the nachos from the oven. Top with dollops of sour cream, guacamole, and salsa before serving. Enjoy!
