Preparation
- 1
Cook the Ground Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- 2
Prepare Shredded Chicken
If using pre-cooked shredded chicken, ensure it is heated. If cooking from raw, boil chicken breasts in salted water until cooked through, about 15-20 minutes, then shred.
- 3
Prepare the Refried Beans
Heat refried beans in a small saucepan over medium heat until warmed through, about 5 minutes.
- 4
Chop Fresh Ingredients
Finely chop the lettuce and tomato, setting aside for topping.
Assemble Nachos
- 5
Layer Tortilla Chips
On a large baking sheet or oven-safe plate, spread the tortilla chips evenly.
- 6
Add Meat and Beans
Layer the cooked ground beef and shredded chicken evenly over the tortilla chips. Spoon the warmed refried beans over the top.
- 7
Sprinkle Cheese
Generously sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the nachos, covering all the ingredients.
Bake Nachos
- 8
Bake in Oven
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the assembled nachos in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Final Touches
- 9
Add Fresh Toppings
Once baked, remove the nachos from the oven. Top with chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and dollops of sour cream.
- 10
Serve Immediately
Serve the Nacho Supreme hot, garnished with additional toppings if desired. Enjoy!
