Taco Preparation
- 1
Cook the Protein
Choose your protein (steak, chicken, carnitas, shrimp, or tilapia). Season as desired and cook in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. This takes about 5-7 minutes for shrimp or tilapia and 10-15 minutes for steak, chicken, or carnitas depending on thickness. Remove from heat and let it rest.
- 2
Warm the Tortillas
In a separate skillet or microwave, warm the flour tortillas for about 30 seconds until they are soft and pliable.
- 3
Prepare the Toppings
Chop the lettuce and prepare the pico de gallo. Crumble the cotija cheese. Set all toppings aside.

- 5
Mix the Drunk Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, hot sauce, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chopped bacon and stir until well combined.
