Marinating the Carne Asada

Marinate the Steak
Place the skirt or flank steak in a re-sealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the meat. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

Combine Ingredients
In another bowl, mix together diced tomatoes, diced red onion, minced jalapeño, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Stir until well combined.

Slice and Serve
Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips and serve with the prepared beans, guac salad, pico de gallo, and warm corn tortillas.
