Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the protein

Season the steak and chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the chorizo

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chorizo until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Grill the steak and chicken

In the same skillet or on a grill, cook the marinated steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness. Remove and let rest. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Let it rest before slicing.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble the burrito

On a large flour tortilla, layer the sliced steak, chicken, cooked chorizo, a scoop of cheese dip, a handful of pico de gallo, cooked rice, and refried beans.

  2. 5

    Wrap the burrito

Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and then roll it from the bottom up to complete the burrito.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Cut the burrito in half and serve with additional pico de gallo and cheese dip on the side.
