Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Ground Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add Seasonings

Sprinkle the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper over the cooked beef. Stir well to coat the meat with the spices and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add Beans and Sauce

Drain and rinse the canned black beans. Add them to the skillet along with the red burrito sauce. Stir everything together and simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Incorporate Cheese Dip

Reduce the heat to low and add the cheese dip to the mixture. Stir until the cheese is melted and everything is combined, about 2-3 minutes.

Serving Suggestions

    Serve Warm

Transfer the Bola Chile Dip to a serving bowl. Top with optional chopped green onions, sour cream, shredded cheese, and sliced jalapeños if desired. Serve warm with tortilla chips or bread.
