Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Pour the brown butter over the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.

In a cast iron skillet or baking dish, layer the apple mixture and top it with the crumble topping.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the crumble is golden brown.
