    Caramelize the Bananas

    In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the brown sugar and stir until dissolved. Slice the bananas in half lengthwise and place them in the skillet, cut side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes until caramelized, then flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

    Prepare the Banana Cake

    If using homemade banana cake, bake according to your recipe. If using store-bought, slice it into even pieces.

    Assemble the Split

    On a serving plate, place a piece of banana cake as the base. Layer with caramelized bananas, diced pineapple, and candied walnuts.

    Add Gelato and Sauces

    Place the assorted gelato scoops on top of the banana and cake layer. Drizzle generously with chocolate and caramel sauces.
