Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the lamb or beef into bite-sized pieces. Dice the onions and tomatoes. Mince the garlic and jalapeno, and chop the rosemary.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Meat

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the lamb or beef pieces and sauté until browned on all sides.

  3. 3

    Add Vegetables and Seasonings

Add the chopped onions, minced garlic, jalapeno, and rosemary to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes until the onions are translucent.

  4. 4

    Incorporate Awaze Sauce

Stir in the awaze sauce and diced tomatoes, cooking for an additional 5-7 minutes until everything is well combined and the meat is cooked through.

  5. 5

    Serve

Plate the Tibs Dry with injera on the side. Optionally, serve with mitmita, spicy awaze sauce, and a fresh salad.
