Fish Taco Ingredients
Method
Preparation Instructions
Prepare the Fish
In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and salt. Add the fish fillets and coat them evenly with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Cook the Fish
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the marinated fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and easily flakes with a fork.
Warm the Tortillas
While the fish is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side, or until pliable.
Assemble the Tacos
Once the fish is cooked, flake it into bite-sized pieces. Place some fish on each tortilla and top with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, and fresh cilantro. Add a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt if desired, and drizzle with salsa or hot sauce.
Serve
Serve the fish tacos immediately with lime wedges on the side.
