Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

Cream Butter and Sugar
In another bowl, cream 1 cup of unsalted butter with 1 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Beat in 2 large eggs one at a time, followed by 1 tsp of vanilla extract until well incorporated.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Scoop Cookies
Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.

Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set. The centers will look slightly soft.

Cool
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
