Method
Chicken Parmigiana
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2
Dredge the Chicken
Set up a dredging station with three plates: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dip each chicken breast in flour, then in egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- 3
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the breaded chicken breasts in batches until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove and place on a baking sheet.
- 4
Assemble the Chicken Parmigiana
Spoon marinara sauce over each fried chicken breast, then top generously with pizza mozzarella cheese.
- 5
Bake
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Alfredo Sauce
- 6
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- 7
Combine Ingredients
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Keep stirring until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- 8
Serve the Sauce
Remove from heat and set aside until ready to serve over the chicken.
Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce
- 9
Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 10
Toss with Tomato Sauce
In the same pot, combine the spaghetti with Mario's Signature Tomato Sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- 11
Garnish and Serve
Plate the spaghetti and garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving alongside the Chicken Parmigiana.
