For the Bacon-Wrapped Scallops

For the Alfredo Sauce

Method

Preparing the Bacon-Wrapped Scallops

  1. 1

    Wrap Scallops

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Wrap each scallop with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick. Season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Sear the Scallops

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the bacon-wrapped scallops and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the bacon is crispy.

  3. 3

    Bake the Scallops

Transfer the seared scallops to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, until the scallops are cooked through.

Making the Alfredo Sauce

  1. 4

    Melt Butter

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. 5

    Add Cream and Garlic

Stir in heavy cream and minced garlic. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 3-5 minutes.

  3. 6

    Add Cheese and Seasoning

Remove from heat and add grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Stir until cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Cooking the Pasta

  1. 7

    Cook the Linguine

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and return to the pot.

  2. 8

    Combine with Sauce

Pour the Alfredo sauce over the cooked linguine and stir to combine. Add the crumbled bacon and sliced green onions, mixing well.

Serving the Dish

  1. 9

    Plate the Dish

Divide the linguine and sauce among plates. Top with the bacon-wrapped scallops. Garnish with additional green onions if desired.

  2. 10

    Enjoy!

Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious lunch scallop carbonara!
