Preparation

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Begin by prepping your ingredients. Dice the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, chop the bacon into small bits, slice the peppers, and mince the garlic cloves.

2

Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.

Cooking

3

Cook the Bacon

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the chopped bacon. Cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.

4

Sauté the Chicken

In the same skillet with the bacon drippings, add the diced chicken. Season with cracked black pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.

5

Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sliced peppers. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and slightly softened. Add the roasted button mushrooms and cook for another 2 minutes.

6

Combine Ingredients

Return the cooked bacon and chicken to the skillet. Pour in the Rosé sauce and stir to combine. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.

7

Toss with Pasta

Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing everything together to coat the pasta in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
