Method
For the Chicken Parmigiana
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and dried oregano on both sides.
- 2
Breading Process
Set up a breading station: Place flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan cheese in a third. Dredge each chicken breast first in flour, then dip it in the egg, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.
- 3
Frying the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to a baking dish.
- 4
Add Cheese and Bake
Top each chicken breast with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
For the Spaghetti
- 5
Cook the Spaghetti
While the chicken is baking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 6
Heat the Sauce
In a saucepan, heat Mario's Signature Tomato Sauce over medium heat until warmed through. Combine with the drained spaghetti and toss to coat.
For the Garlic Homeloaf
- 7
Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic and chopped parsley until well combined.
