Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cook crispy chicken strips according to package instructions or fry them in a pan until golden brown and crispy. Once cooked, set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Make Bruschetta

Chop the Roma tomatoes and combine them in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Prepare Pesto Aioli

In a small bowl, mix together the pesto and mayonnaise until well combined. This will be your pesto aioli.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Lettuce

Wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Wrap

On each flour tortilla, spread a generous amount of pesto aioli. Layer crispy chicken strips, cooked bacon, bruschetta mixture, and romaine lettuce evenly on top.

  2. 7

    Roll the Wrap

Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll from the bottom up to enclose all the fillings tightly. Repeat for all tortillas.

Grilling

  1. 8

    Grill the Wraps

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until grill marks appear and the tortilla is crispy.

  2. 9

    Serve

Remove from the grill, slice in half, and serve warm with extra pesto aioli on the side if desired.
