Crust Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 2
Prepare Cauliflower
Remove the leaves and stems from the cauliflower head. Chop it into small florets.
- 3
Rice the Cauliflower
In a food processor, pulse the cauliflower florets until they resemble rice or fine crumbs.
- 4
Cook the Cauliflower
Transfer the riced cauliflower to a microwave-safe bowl and cover it. Microwave on high for 4-5 minutes until tender.
- 5
Drain Excess Moisture
Let the cauliflower cool slightly, then transfer it to a clean kitchen towel and wring out as much moisture as possible.
- 6
Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the riced cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, eggs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 7
Form the Crust
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the cauliflower mixture onto the parchment paper, forming a 10-inch circle.
- 8
Bake the Crust
Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Topping and Final Bake
- 9
Add Sauce and Toppings
Remove the crust from the oven and spread the pizza sauce evenly over the top. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, then add your desired toppings like pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, and fresh basil.
- 10
Final Bake
Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 11
Serve
Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
