Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently and form into two equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Vermont cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet with a lid to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the cheese melts, split the brioche buns and toast them in the skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Place each patty on a toasted bun and top with the other half of the bun.
