Salmon

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Brush the mixture over the salmon fillets and sprinkle fresh dill on top if using.

  2. 2

    Bake the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Fries

While the salmon is baking, prepare the fries. You can use frozen fries or make your own from fresh potatoes. If using fresh potatoes, cut them into fries, rinse and dry them, then toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  4. 4

    Cook the Fries

If using frozen fries, bake them according to the package instructions. If using fresh fries, bake them in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through until golden and crispy.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once both the salmon and fries are cooked, plate them together and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious salmon and fries!
