    Prepare the Clams

    Rinse the littleneck clams under cold water to remove any sand or grit. Set aside.

    Sauté Garlic

    In a large pot or deep skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

    Add Wine and Clams

    Pour in the white wine and bring it to a gentle simmer. Add the rinsed clams to the pot, cover with a lid, and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until all the clams have opened.

    Season and Serve

    Once the clams are cooked, stir in the lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Discard any clams that did not open. Serve hot with crusty bread for dipping.
