1. Prepare the Gnocchi
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the potato gnocchi and cook according to package instructions until they float to the surface. Drain and set aside.
2. Make the Brown Butter
In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until the butter turns a golden brown color and has a nutty aroma. Be careful not to burn it.
3. Combine Ingredients
Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet with the brown butter. Gently toss to coat. Add the fresh peas and cook for about 2 minutes until they are tender.
4. Add Cream and Lobster
Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Then add the chopped lobster meat and Meyer lemon zest. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the cream to thicken slightly.
5. Season and Serve
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with additional Meyer lemon zest if desired.
