Preheat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 180°C (350°F).

Cook the French Fries
Carefully add the frozen French fries to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch.

Drain and Season
Remove the fries from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
Preparation of Chili

Cook the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- 5
- 6
Season and Simmer
Stir in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and add the canned diced tomatoes and kidney beans. Simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Assembly
- 7
Layer the Fries
On a large serving plate, create a layer of crispy fries.
- 8
