Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare Brussels Sprouts

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut the larger sprouts in half for even cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain excess fat. Once cooled, crumble into small pieces.

Roasting

  1. 4

    Toss and Season

In a large bowl, toss the prepared Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well coated.

  2. 5

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 6

    Roast in the Oven

Roast the Brussels sprouts in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through.

Finishing Touches

  1. 7

    Add Balsamic Glaze and Bacon

Once the Brussels sprouts are done roasting, drizzle them with balsamic glaze and sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top.

  2. 8

    Serve

Toss everything together gently and serve warm as a delicious side dish.
